How to See Mindfulness Practice Results:
The Compound Effect Breakthrough

Why Mindfulness Progress Feels Slow:
When a Hidden Tipping Point Arrives
Picture a small snowball you release from the top of a snowy mountain. At first it rolls slowly, almost imperceptibly. But along the way it picks up more and more snow. Its mass and speed grow. And then, after some time, that tiny little ball becomes a massive, unstoppable avalanche that reshapes the landscape all on its own.
The same thing happens with joyful states in our lives. Every small effort you make — every flash of anger you defuse, every smile or moment of joy you consciously create — is like a single snowflake you add to your "snowball." At first the effect seems insignificant.
But what if there is a "tipping point"? A "critical mass" — a moment after which your "snowball" of joy becomes so large and powerful that it starts growing on its own, without any enormous effort from you? That moment exists. And in this Step we'll talk about how to "roll your way" to it.
