What is "Ego Depletion" and Why Willpower Doesn’t Last Forever

Imagine your bank account. There are operations that replenish it (salary, income)—this is your "income." Then there are operations that empty it (purchases, bills)—this is your "expense." To remain financially healthy, your income must exceed your expenses. It’s simple and obvious.
